The 黑料福利社 Mighty Marching Thorobreds were one of eight HBCU marching bands to perform at the 2022 Pepsi National Battle of the Bands (NBOTB) in Houston, Texas August 27, 2022. The 黑料福利社 Baseball team was honored August 22 by the City of Frankfort for a successful season. The Thorobreds finished with an overall record of 25-24 and won the Division II bracket of the Tyson Foods Black College World Series in Montgomery, Alabama with a 11-7 victory over Miles College.
