KSU uses the De Minimis rate of 15%, which is applied on a Modified Total Direct Cost (MTDC) base. Under this base, the following items are excluded: equipment, capital expenditures, participant support costs, and any subaward amount that exceeds $50,000 (only the first $50,000 of each subaward is included in the base).

An AOR is a designated official in the ORI with the legal authority to sign proposals, accept awards, and act on behalf of KSU.

Required research personnel must complete refresher Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training at least every four years.
